An obligation moves for a circumstance of life. It does not move because it is unwanted, or because it is hard.

A week

Your week is laid out for you.

The week turns at the Sunday Audience, your Sunday sitting with your officer. They ask after you first, then go through your hours with you and lay the week out against them. You answer with any changes.

3 Disciplines run through every week of the Term.

    Quarters

    Your home is brought to order a piece at a time. That means your own room and things if you share, and the whole home if you live alone.

    A Trade you chose

    Photography, drawing, music or making. Each week builds on the last. You are judged on whether you did it and on your effort, never on the result.

    Reading

    A list is set for you and read in order for a set stretch of time. How far you get is yours and you may refuse a text before you begin it.

That is 1 week. One thing can run underneath all of it.

The filter

Even your screens can be kept.

A day waits for you to report. An internet filter does not wait. If you choose one it sits on your own devices for the whole Term.

    Greywell never sees what you look at

    It sees that the filter is working. It never sees a page, a site or a history.

    Your own devices only

    Your phone, your tablet and your laptop. Never a work device, a shared one or a router other people use.

    You can ask for a site

    Give a reason and asking never counts against you. The serious kinds reach the Governor. Crisis and health sites are never closed.

    You can take it down

    Say so and it is gone for the rest of the Term. Take it down quietly and your House Officer asks.

You ask for a size when you apply and the Governor confirms it. It goes on at Commencement, your first day, and comes down when the Term ends. It is Greywell's reach and not a wall. What it costs

Everything that can follow is written down before you begin and part of it is written by you.

After every consequence your officer comes back to ask how it went for you. Nobody is made to answer.
